This theatre build was a straightforward project with two goals: I wanted to transform a fairly generic kit into a unique building, and I wanted to explore the capabilities of my FDM printer further.
I’m still figuring out the best settings for printing architectural details, and I’m constantly refining my process. FDM printing seems better suited on the horizontal plane so the new first story facade (theatre entrance) was a test to see if I could print recessed and bevelled planes. The results were good, but I still need to change the settings for a better finish. This was a very straightforward project, and I’m happy with the results.
I’ve received a series of messages asking that I add narration to my videos. Is this something people are interested in? If so, please leave your thoughts in the comments. Thanks.
