The zombie garage is an eight-story parking garage telling the fateful tale of our poor victim. Attempting to seek refuge in an abandoned parking facility, our hero quickly finds the undead inhabiting every floor of the garage. Desperate, our hero attempts to drive his truck off the upper level of the building in hopes of landing on an adjacent tower; he doesn’t escape and is quickly swarmed by our flesh-craving friends.
This was a last-minute project I wanted to try as part of online competition. I’m still working on an elevated rail line, and I have a doomsday diorama that I’ll be completing very soon. This is a miniaturized version of a real-sized parking garage; a standard parking garage would take up a footprint approximately twice the size of this one. This was a test of producing individual floors, and while things turned out well, it was very challenging to build with the accuracy needed to make it credible. I’m happy to have given it a try, I’m pleased with the results, but I don’t think I’ll attempt to structure like this again anytime soon!
Also, my new resin printer arrived, so I’ll soon be able to enjoy highly detailed parts!
