Having not worked on scale models for over a decade, I wanted to design a small project to get me started. I had recently seen some large-scale models of Jason Voorhees cabin (as introduced in Friday the 13th Part 2), and I decided that having are deranged psychopath roaming the D&DR seemed like a good fit.
Having are deranged psychopath roaming the D&DR seemed like a good fit. The design was inspired by the photograph below and freelanced to suit my tastes and abilities. The overall structure was built using scribed styrene, the windows and doors were from Tichy Trains, and the corrugated steel was tin foil embossed on a fine thread bolt.
